The two most common causes is from a misfire or an engine mount. Engine mounts are replaced as they were and tune ups should be performed as part of your regular maintenance. Tune ups should be done between 30,000 and 90,000 this depends on the make, model and your engine. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

The squealing noise from your car is most likely from your serpentine belt. Over time your belt will wear and when it goes over the pulleys it will slip causing the squealing noise. This can be remedied by replacing your belt. If your belt has been replaced recently then it probably just needs to be tightened. Give us a call and let us take care of you Happy Adventures, Heather

This could be due to an issue with your fuel trim. If you have an oxygen sensor that is beginning to fail it will cause the light to come on and go off as it is ready correctly or incorrectly. The only way to know for sure what is going on is to have a diagnostic test run on your car to make sure the diagnosis is correct. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Over time anything can wear out, even your starter. Just think of how many starting cycles you've had over the course of the lifetime of your vehicle. Every single time you start your vehicle your starter has to make that happen. Over a period of many years all that starting can cause the brushes inside of the starter to wear out and stop functioning. Sometimes it's a part that can be repaired and other times it just needs to be replaced -that just depends on the starter itself. Give us a call and let us take care of you. Happy Adventures, Heather

We recommend that you get an alignment once every 12 months or after suspension work is performed. After a year of driving there is a lot that your vehicle goes through. Everything from large speed bumps, pot holes, curbs all so many thing in between that can cause your alignment to get out of specification. Having an alignment performed after new tires, suspension work and/or once every 12 months will make sure your tires are wearing correctly to make your investment last as long as possible.
