My oil can light came on

The oil can light on your dash is for your oil pressure. This light will come on when you have an issue with your oil pressure. This is one of those times that you should not keep driving and pull over as soon as it is safe too. The light could be on due to a faulty sensor but it comes on more times because of low oil pressure and this can be due to not enough oil or to much oil in your engine. It can also be due to the oil pump not pumping the correct amount of oil into your engine. It needs to be checked and diagnosed properly to prevent damage from occurring in your engine.
